demoFONE.com is a technology preview for presenting, demoing and viewing mobile applications directly from a smartphone to a web audience via live web casting.

With demoFONE.com you can "beam" the screen of any S60 3rd Edition ^(*) based mobile phone to the web - in real-time!

This service is currently running as a public beta test, so please expect some downtimes and other glitches.

(*) Streaming can take up to 50 kBytes/s, so please use WLAN/WiFi to connect to demoFONE.com or use a flatrate 3G/GPRS subscription.

demoFONE.com is powered by Remote Professional from mobileways.de - the perfect solution for remote controlling Symbian S60 and UIQ 3 phones from a desktop computer.

The screen of the mobile phone is streamed to a central server in real-time by using Remote Professional's high performance screen compressing algorithms.

The streaming server then re-encodes the screencast and serves a pure Flash FLV stream.
